 Who
are we?
We
are non-smoking, in our mid forties, and we sold our home in in July 2003
so we could be mobile to housesit.
We
are university educated. We have raised three children, who have all moved
away from home. Dave is a ATM installer. Denise is a web designer and
satellite technician. We can work from any location that has high-speed
internet available. We have really enjoyed housesitting in Alberta for
the first 5-6 years. However, there are reasons why we prefer to be in
Nova Scotia, so we are actively seeking housesits in Dartmouth, Halifax,
Cole Harbour, Lake Echo, Musquodoboit, Eastern Passage, or other areas
nearby in Nova Scotia.
 We
are happy to pay utilities and care for your home as if it were our own.
We started out with experience working with a local housesitting and petsitting
company in Airdrie, Alberta, and have been live-in housesitters since
2003. We have great references and can provide a clean, recent, criminal
record check. And we have experience with cats, dogs, frogs, fish, and
lizards.
We
do have two little pets of our own, miniature schnauzers. They are voice
trained and goes with us everywhere our car goes, and are kennel trained,
so they are well-behaved little doggies who have lived in several people's
homes and no better than to destroy things or get on the furniture. They
are completely housebroken and never have damaged anything in our home,
or the other homes in which we have lived. They are also accustomed to
making friends with your pets (including cats).

Wow! We've had a great time being housesitters for the last six
years. But an employment opportunity in Nova Scotia has been offered
to us that we just couldn't turn down and we are settling down to
our own place in Halifax. We are just leaving this website up for
archival purposes at this time. If you are still interested in buying
